Just wanted to wish everyone the best for the holiday season.

Try to make some time this season to relax with both friends and family. Make amends if needed. You can never regain a lost opportunity. Time flies.

I have three New Years resolutions that I wish to share since they are all Buzztime related:

1. I resolve to play Showdown and the Tuesday night premium games at least 20 times during 2012.
2. I resolve to play the Wednesday night games at least 10 times during 2012
3. I resolve to play Canada, Eh at least once.

These goals may seem modest but this would roughly triple my gameplay over the current year.

Cheers

I'll toss my three in:

1) Try to play Buzztime more often
2) Do whatever it takes to reduce my debt, which ISN'T pretty
3) Reduce my intake of alcohol and overeating

And a Happy/Merry/etc to everyone out there.

Well, hell. For now my only resolutions are more unrelated than related, though one could have a lil benefit later on. :o

The first is to visit the museums in Balboa Park on Resident Free Tuesdays (free admission to residents with ID on a regular rotation). Though this involves me dragging my poor tired lil old cheap grumpy ass out more than a lil earlier than usual on Tuesdays , the time needed to catch a couple of buses to Balboa Park, spend a lil time at one or more of the museums, then catch another couple of buses to Pacific Beach for my usual Tuesday NTN Buzztime banging away, is certainly doable, though likely not every Tuesday (especially in those months with five Tuesdays, during which only one museum offers free admission on the fifth Tuesday).

The second is to continue to use public transit when feasible, NTN Buzztime playing and otherwise. The first resolution certainly will help more than a lil. ;)

My 3 New Year's Wishes:

1. Stay alive
2. Stay out of jail
3. Guess at over a 50% accuracy rate on reality tv, Woody Allen, James Bond, and car questions.

Lofty goals. And if #1 & #2 come true, I should be able to make it 100 BT sites played at with 3 more new sites.

Enjoy the season, y'all.

My New Year's resolutions will be...

1- To keep smoking, maybe even more than I already do.

2- To drink more. (I think that may be possible.)

3- Eat anything I want, as much as I want, whenever I want.

4- To only exercise, when running to avoid an oncoming bus.

5- To stay up so late on the "ScaRatings" that I sleep until 4:00 p.m. the next day.

6- And if I survive my previous resolutions, to be still alive to post my new resolutions next year on the "ScaRatings".

1) Don't create any New Year's resolutions that I can't keep.
2) Try not to take Cloudy's advice regarding resolutions.

ZOG, that's easy... You still have a week to come up with something more specific. Do as I did. Don't make resolutions that take away from things that you enjoy, as most people do, who almost always wind up breaking their resolutions. Resolve to expand on the things you enjoy, no matter how unhealthy they might be. Give yourself positive goals for the new year, where if you accomplish them, you will have not only succeeded, but you will have had a more enjoyable year. If they kill you, what the Hell...? At least you won't have to worry about having to come up with some more bullshit resolutions next year that you can't keep.

TEVERETT, you will have no problem satisfying those New Year's resolutions. You made it too easy for yourself.

Try these for more difficulty:

1- Writing a book that makes the New York Times Best Seller list.

2- Scaling the tallest mountains on every continent.

3- Becoming the first woman to score a touchdown in the NFL.

4- Beating Ken Jennings all-time "Jeopardy" winning streak.

5- Discovering a cure for the common cold.

6- And figuring out what happens, if you press "this button".

(Everybody loves you. I'm just kidding with you.)
