Where is the national Christmas tree displayed. I've seen this question often enough to know that Buzztime wants you to select the White House, but as a a 40 year resident of the DC area I can attest that the tree is not on the WH grounds --it's on the Ellipse, which is between the WH and the Mall. The Mall was one of the five answer choices. I've always considered the Ellipse to be part of the Mall. It is definitely not part of the WH.

I’d say it’s definitely closer to the WH. The pics of the tree often have the WH in the background. The tv show of the lighting makes it look like it’s on the south lawn. The Mall is on the other side of the street.

Leave those questions to those still stuck up here in the 25 degree weather. Just stick to the questions about which is closer to John’s Pass: Treasure Island or Madeira beach?
