How long have they been announcing choices for this game? And they just now consider announcing it over the network instead of some small almost hidden page on their website? No, facebook doesn't count.

But, it is a good decision on the part of BT. I give them that much.

Now if they would just rectify the other 127 items on my list..... 123 of them they had right at some point in time.

Why does BT group their Headliner choices?
The three this week will draw in the same crowd.
If it were:

Maroon 5
The Beatles
Disco Era

or something like that every week,
people might at least be tricked into
playing with the faint hope that their
favorite option has a shot at being
the headliner... those hapless dupes...

Part of me agrees with you Spotes, but another part of me disagrees. I usually go with the 33% rule. If there is only a 33% chance of there being a topic I think I'd do well in, I stay home. The suggestion you gave is one where I might go out for (Beatles and Disco Era). This week, the decision is easy...made easier by the fact that I have White Sox tickets, of course.

Buzztime actually used to do that way in the early weeks of this game, but then people complained that since all three topics are vastly different...the actual selection would PO players who wanted the two other selections so bad that they might not be willing to play the game ever again. Ever since then, buzztime has (mostly) stuck to the idea of grouping the Headliners together.

For the most part, I think that's been a good idea. If you want The Beatles, but the selection is The Rolling Stones, most players could probably live with that.

But if you want The Beatles & instead get stuck with, say, Lady Gaga, I don't think a lot of players can live with that.

Thats why Adam Lambert n Clay Akien had to keep it the closet while they were on Idol. Adam Levine was dead on.

Oh-oh.

Maroon 5 for Headliner and Encore.

The cover art for Maroon 5's album 'Songs About Jane' depicted a woman covered by:
1. Heavy Chains
2. Beach Blanket
3. Flowers
4. Her Long Hair
5. Paper Screen

Correct answer: Her Long Hair

Although she had (Rememberance Day poppy-like) flowers in the background and and in her long hair...but the hair was more importantly covering her naughty bits. Good thing one of the choices wasn't snakes because the cover I was picturing was different at the moment from what I have at home. I also thought the cover was more 'maroon' in colour and I don't remember the open treasure box she's holding.

Glad I got it. I didn't see Fletchers in the final tally but saw them all the other games.

Three right answers? She was 'in front' of torn up paper screen if you really wanted to stretch things but no was was that covering her.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songs_About_Jane It would have been so much easier if I'd looked through my CD collection before I left tonight.

The full headliner round of questions I'll post soon.

We were at the White Sox game, and in the 6th inning, they do this "dance contest" where three fans are called on to the dugout to dance to three different songs. The first song was some song by Maroon 5. I turned to my wife and said, "I bet this means Maroon 5 will be the headliner." This was at about 7:15.

Here's my recap from last week--put off for a few days once I saw the Headliner questions were posted anyway.

No problem this week as I will NOT be playing as it's an MLS soccer game this Saturday night.
