Hells bells. Apparently it isn't enough for whomever at NTN Buzztime selects the generally mediocre Player of the Week to generally pick other than well established, accomplished players. The most recent selectee had as part of his blurb...

Another bad example of Player Of The Week. Can't we get a lifelong player whose perfect scores and Players Plus point total actually be true.

Only person I know was MITOM, who was at 'palooza last year and was POW months back.

I've never tried to be POW.

Well, hell. Seems that someone at NTN Buzztime is still checking things here, given the somewhat disingenuous qualifying phraseology of this weeks POTW. :roll:

That said, the descriptions of these past two (if not more) POTWs could be seen as false advertising.

Nope I didn't.....me and HENRY are the ones who uses our FLY club handles more often.....the first CD game of June i scored that 13.2k game.

I had a friend send one in of my toddler really playing (I will probably never win any of the random Bullshit from Buzztime, me being so critical of them and all.) He hit the number I told him, so he was actually playing. He played pretty well, even sandbagged us on one.

Well, hell. IMO that other story is better discussed elsewhere than here.

Assuming that my increasingly decrepit, fragile lil mind can remember to do so, the next time I feel like venting on those ohsocrazysexycool mediocre playing ilk, I'll call them POTW instead. No disrespect was meant to POWs.

It almost seems a requirement for POTW is that one must have under 200K players plus points.

I'm guessing that POTW is randomly chosen.

As for the better-looking ones, has anyone noticed that NTN Buzztime prefers young (20's and early-30's) models/actors/actresses to appear in their ads? Most of them have probably never even heard of NTN before, let alone played a game on the playmaker. I'm guess their looks (and not P+ points or how long they've played) is a reason why they are chosen.

I know Mike (DRSIBE) since i started playing NTN.....I know his point total and averages don't refect the 20+ years of playing, but he is an excellent player and considered the third legit player to be named to POW.
