Here is the list of Topix for this month...

    July 4 – American Revolution
    July 5 – Johnny Depp
July 11 – Retired Sports Stars
July 12 – Out of "The Office"
    July 18 – The Letter P
    July 19 – Sci-Fi Movies
July 25 – Ships and Boats
July 26 – Hot Summer Songs
I guess 7/04 is the best of this list, but none of these games particularly excite me.

We have a team member that says she is a borderline Johnny Depp stalker/fan, so I guess we are committed to that game. But the Sci Fi looks like a good topic.

Well the 4th July Topix overall wasn't as bad as I feared but another of those irksome multiple correct answer questions - especially unforgivable in scripted games - dropped me down from a very good score to a merely decent one. I know that at least Arnold and IIRC Burr too (think he was an answer that is - know he was at the camp) were at Valley Forge. This is another of those "prime number" cases where you simply must guess what BT was thinking. Unlike in that example I guessed wrongly, reasoning that Arnold was a more prominent Revolutionary War figure and they'd added the others without checking.

Oh well since next week is a non-starter for me I suppose I must work out a guessing strategy for 7/18's "Which P is known for works including 'Manon Lescaut'?" with both Prévost and Puccini listed. Although let's be honest a similar need to guess between Presley and Perkins for recording 'Blue Suede Shoes' is more likely.
