Same for us. I called the BT Customer Service (which is always splendid) and they hadn't heard about it until I called, but diagnosed it as a system-wide, rather than local, problem while I was on the line. Interestingly, the woman with whom I spoke had also not heard about the hint glitch in Six yet.
What time did you call? Our manager called about the beginning of Glory Daze (20:30 our time) and the person replying was not aware of a problem then. He called back when we had the same problem at the end of Glory Daze, and by then they had figured out that it was a system-wide problem, but did not know the cause. Scores were going in all right, so we knew that we would be able to see the results next day, anyway. Fortunately, they got it fixed by the end of Showdown, so we did not have to wait to see how poorly we did on that!
I called Tuesday before the premium games, then again Wednesday afternoon. It looks like they have it worked out for some, but not all, games.
It's quite a pisser, both from the perspective of a player and that of a representative of a business that pays a good deal of money each month for Buzztime. It just seems like there is issue after issue lately. From the business perspective, we'd really like to see BT concentrate a little more on quality control and a little less on driving away our regular trivia players with the new crap they have deluded themselves into thinking will lure new players.
Sorry; didn't mean to go on quite that rant. Felt good, though.
