When we initially released the app on Monday, we followed a suggestion to turn on copy protection that somehow doubled the size the app. We have turned this off and it has returned the file size to 13 mb.
Per the ability to move the app to your SD card, my understanding is that this is a feature for phones running 2.2 and above. Our app was built to support as many phones in the filed as possible, so we built against the 1.5 Android OS which should work with most of the phones in the market.
It is a feature of 2.2, but many apps are now written with the ability to do either/or. Pre 2.2 version installs to local, 2.2+ install option to SD.
