New version of mobile playmaker......pending?

Just saw on Facebook that Buzztime is releasing a new version of the mobile playmaker. Per their entry on facebook,

"We must now officially say goodbye to the old version ...... For those of you that have not already upgraded, get ready for a new experience that will be faster, give you instance access to your mobile profile ans support The Season Playoffs. The old version of the Mobile Playmaker will no longer function and you must make this upgrade to the new version if you want to play The Season on Friday"

I upgraded a week or two ago, and didn't notice any changes *for the most part*. The upgrade I made did say it was needed for the Season playoffs, so I don't know if this message means there is yet a newer version coming out, or if I have the version they refered to above.

BTW, I have an android.

Old news already discussed. Think today is when BT will force the upgrade. And you posted in the old thread! viewtopic.php?f=43&t=1397 It's nothing new.

Not that any real player gives a shit about mobile PM's.

Unless you are at a site where no boxes are available. You can also use the app to locate the nearsest BT sites.

Mobile Playmaker update came out today, February 28th 2012. Required update. Changes supposed to be for updates to Lunchtime Trivia, Countdown and new Late Shift game. I'm wondering if this is because of the patches.

I wonder if they fixed it to where you can now answer on the mobile playmaker the mini-break questions for movie tickets for a movie you may or may not go see. :?:

I don't know, but I will test to see if I can earn patches via the mobile playmaker playing "blind folded" I don't condone cheating, but I see the chance of people using the phone app to play randomly and gather patches that can lead to earning small prizes. I will test it today, but won't do it any futher.

Let us know how it goes. As I told Bo when I joined him for SIQ, I'm guilty of playing "blind folded" to get credit for games for the cards for those times I wasn't able to make it to a bar to play...but it's not something I like or want to do...would rather be at a bar playing with some wings and an ice cold frosty adult beverage.

EDIT - That new logo looks way more than a lil like the Stuart Anderson's Square Cow (Black Angus/Cattle Company). :lol:

Looks like version 1.5.5 was not programmed for the new game schedule. At 5:00 P.M. Pacific, when a Countdown game should have appeared, up came Buzztime Trivia. :lol:

EDIT - At 5:28 P.M., only Texas Holdem showed as a choice. Four minutes later, both Countdown and Texas Holdem showed. :roll:

Confirmed. I tried it today, and random-guessed my way to a badge, during the first Lunchtime game. Big deal.
