F Sochi, got my gold medal already!

Played during lunch today and landed a couple decent scores, including one that landed me a gold medal. Now I know gold medals aren't a big deal for you guys (you probably get them on a weekly basis), but this is actually my first! Pretty stoked about it. I was actually 6 for 6 on a later game, but messed up the final question in what was almost my first perfect game.

Anyway, huzzah! I had slipped from top 3 to 9th at my home location, mostly because people were farming Late Shift/Lunchtime Trivia to bolster their Top 100s. Two can play at that game. And the second person can do it better. 8-)

Not trying to rain on the parade, but suggest that you confirm tomorrow morning. In my long experience the only sure gold in Lunchtime is the perfect game (assuming, of course, that enough others played that game).

Does it glitch sometimes when the threshold is met?

Often there are bars that haven't reported scores back to BT in time for the rankings screen you saw.
The late reporting bar scores will show up by the morning.

Maybe someone beat you for the gold, maybe not? Maybe there was enough players, maybe not?

Ah I had thought the only scores not reported were the people below the top spot in each bar. Woops @_@

NOFLY @ my home site picked up a gold yesterday, deprivng a certain lildude on the west coast.

Jeff thought it was his first gold, but the BT site is showing it as his second.

I guess once you get the first, you lose count.
