Just an interesting side-note:
Buzztime has gone to a strictly numeric designation for sites vs the alpha-numeric system they were using. I noticed a new Montana site with a site code of 36129. The site count as of March 31st was 4192 - if my math is correct, looks to me like like a retention rate of about 1 in 9 overall since Buzztime/NTN's conception.
It would be kind of neat to know what location has the lowest site code/longest longevity of the currently active locations. I don't have the expertise to scrape this data, but I would be willing to bet someone on this forum does.
Dante? Pink Pig? Scar? Bad Bob?

I mentioned this multiple times on the BT forums, the answer is the Tender Trap in the Chicago area with a site id number of 2. The reason I know this is because NTN always used to post playoff brackets for QB1 with the site id number on it, and at that time Tender Trap always made the field of 64. The lowest I ever played at was Humperdink's in Addison which at the time had an ID number of 37.
But, just to prove I can still be a prick, how hard would it have been to plug in a number into the appropriate URL:
http://www.buzztime.com/site/x where x represents the site id number. Start with 1, doesn't work. Try 2, hello Tender Trap.

Thanks for the history and the tip, Bo. Although it is no longer active, #1 does still come up -- "Area 51, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego". It even has a phone no., in case someone wants to try to revive their interest.
Because of a surfeit of curiosity about such things, I had to check for the earliest Canadian one. Of those still listed, #24, Original Chaps of Burlington, ON, appears to be earliest. It was last active in Dec. 2007, but still has 13 players associated with it, three with more than 8 000 000 plus points. Melrose Cafè of Calgary is the earliest still-active site in Canada, at #45.
