For those not on Facebook, here is what they posted about the new game:

Some of you are concerned with our new trivia game, The Season, so I thought I would show you just how we plan to make this game for the casual fans! Here's a question that might be asked: JACKSONVILLE, HOME OF THE NFL'S JAGUARS, SITS ON THE BANKS OF THE ____ RIVER.

Ultimately, I fear The Season won't go over well...simply because perception is reality. It's the same reason why Sports Night didn't work as a tv series -- people thought the show was about sports, even though sports itself had very little to do with the show.

Friday Night was a great night for trivia (even in its current form). I hope I'm wrong, but I fear the Friday night participation numbers will take a dive.

I'll play once to satisfy my curiosity. But I have my doubts about this game, especially on a Friday night. Although I don't care for the entertainment-type games that dominate Fridays, it was a formula that worked for Buzztime, so they probably should have left well-enough alone.

Thanks for the information Brandy, I try to stay away from Facebook as much as possible. My sentiments echo Zog's, I'll check it out at least once to see what it's like. It's quite annoying the BT decided to put this as the first tab on a player profile.

Apparently there is a new tab dedicated specifically to "The Season," which you are automatically directed to when you go to someone's profile.
