Nothing personal against all the Canuckistanis out there, but after almost three solid months of Canadian content in seemingly every single game, I just wanted to give a quick shout out to Buzztime for only having two questions about Canada in the three 1/2 hours that I played yesterday afternoon. Wahoo!!!
Oddly, while our scores stayed about the same yesterday, it seemed like scores (with a couple of exceptions) around the country were suffering a lot more than usual with Canada removed from the equation.
Are we the only bar that is woefully ignorant on all things Canuckular? :(
By comparison, in 11 games on 2/11 there were 16 questions about Canada including the first three of one CD game. That was a little heavier than usual, but not too far removed from the 11 games on 1/26 wherein 9 of them had at least one question about the Great White North including a stretch of 7 games in a row.
I mentioned this trend to a certain Texan one Thursday night during the prime time games and, sure enough, the next three CD/BT games right after Six all had at least one question about Canada.
Did BT simply add all of this stuff to the US broadcast last December to avoid the need to send out two separate signals due to Canadian content communication standards?
Or are we accidentally on the Canadian feed? Eek!!!

On my visit to Vancouver last spring, the locals pointed out to me that it seemed as if the folks at Carlsbad tried to put at least one question in each 15-question game that Canadians would have a better shot at answering than United States players. They regarded it almost as an entitlement...it was clearly something that they looked forward to seeing.

If we don't seem to mind it and if Canadians like it (and the bar literally cheered the "Canadian Question" a couple of times in my three days in Vancouver), it makes sense that Buzztime would keep putting Canadian questions into games.

I don't see any problem here

Neither do I. No mention has been made of the American-content questions, which certainly number more than one per game, although I really haven't been keeping score. And frankly, I like the challenge of trying to know as much about Canada as the Canadians do.

There really aren't enough Delaware questions, IMHO.

I wish I was in a position to see such a fiasco. ;)
