Post subject:  Query: What is most used player handle?
On the BT website, I searched various handles, fully expecting "BIGDOG" would be the most used. Up popped over 1,300 registered players.

But then I plugged in "DOC" and found 1,800 entries. "DUDE" mustered up 2,200. That was trumped by "JEN" with 2,500 entries. But "DAVE" brought up 4,000. That was the largest number I could find.

I tried "JOE" several times, but the search timed out to a blank screen. Maybe the search engine was overwhelmed by the large number of entries.

Having run out ideas for other worthy searches, I shut down my browser. Please feel free to continue this little experiment if it interests you, and if so, please report your findings.

FOG

P.S. There are 40 "FOG" entries, two of which are mine. Almost all others have less than 10K PPP.

P.P.S. Also found 132 "SCAR" and 246 "DANTE" entries. And 82 "SOB"s.

There are 3860 entries for JOHN, but only 2517 for TIM. I get a "page cannot be displayed" when I try to search for JOE.

There are two players with a handle of UMASS, and 15 players with a handle of DUMASS.

But there is only one ELPUKO! :lol:

1491 Exact match for Display Name = "WOLF"

There is one #1WOLF, one MTCHWF, one KNGWLF, one DEWWLF, one MWMWLF, but there is one other DVLWLF besides mine.

One of one my former handles, BEOWLF, there are 14.

As for the werewolves on my current siggy, NO WHATWF, NO WHOWLF and one WEREWLF

I would guess FSPLIT is rapidly moving up the charts...

I registered one of those Tuesday, using a different email addy, and played SD in that name. It would be fun to see a bunch of registered FSPLIT names hitting the top 50 :)

Not as rapidly as you or I would think. I only found three, including one at a Lil out-of-the-way place in San Diego . . .

There are 18 Pengwns, though - but only one that's registered with the "pengwn" username :D
