The thing that's most bothersome is buzztime refuses to take the time to write all new questions for the weekly premium games.

But now it's taking the time to put together a Family Feud game that very few people will end up playing anyway.

I can't see how I can begin to reply to the survey they sent me- I have no local site and the closest buzztime site is in Victoria, a mountain range and about 350 miles away. Although I must admit that the site finder shows several places on the mainland of BC as being within driving distance,(that is if you ignore the fact that there is a vast quantity of water between me and the mainland, requiring driving to a ferry, spending over 1 hour and a half sailing merrily on the water, with a half hour drive on the mainland to reach the first buzztime site.

The survey will be used to write the questions for this new opinion game, it is not about what you think of BT. The survey will ask what movies you like, what you eat for breakfast, what you are most likely to find under your car seats....it's Family Feud questions and this is the survey to write them. This opinion on demand game will not work just as the live trivia game is pretty much non existent. There is no way on demand games will ever work. People come into the bars to play a game that is on at that time, if someone schedules an on demand game instead, there will be trouble. If it's announced and it's weekly then people will know when not to frequent that bar.

Well, hell. As luck would have it, a few months ago I was unfortunate enough to be present at the sneak preview of OpinionNation at the BWW closest to NTN Buzztime's offices. All I got out of it was four lost Lunchtime Trivia games. I did have a brief word with the NTN employee who hosted. I told him that IMO OpinionNation might be good for a change of pace, but not as a substitute for premium content. As of a few weeks ago, that same BWW is showing OpinionNation on Wednesdays, preempting Six. During my last visit to that BWW, I told their general manager that their decision to show OpinionNation then had all but removed them as a viable option for my visiting them on Wednesday evenings (FWIW, I usually visit there one Thursday a month).

Well, hell. Another of the few sites in NTN Buzztime's Site-Poor Backyard (The Draft in Oceanside, formerly a franchise of that half assed clone of BWW, Wings, Pizza & Things ) is now showing this godawful, horrible abomination, on Tuesdays starting 6:30, killing both Glory Daze and Showdown.
