I can confirm it works on Android, and that I can play at Mad River from our apartment.
Though, obviously, it's kind of tough with no questions on screen

Well, hell. Whilst eating down the street from BWW Mission Valley, downloaded and installed this on my iPad mini. Logged in and was able to pull up Lunchtime Trivia, but didn't try to answer. |

I downloaded the app to my IPhone and found that I could play from home at 1.99 miles away from BWW Gaithersburg but the next closest at 7.25 miles was not allowed to join. So maybe the radius is 2 miles? App seems to run fine for the 3 questions I bothered to guess on. |

Hadn't thought of that "staying home to play" angle... But I agree with it... Bars would hate to find that people are playing the game at home for free... On the other point, however... Most of the tablet bars I've played at rarely if ever have a TV on the game (fortunately, my home bar has the game on several TV's 100% of the time). But then, other than Cameron's, most places around here have practically zero players. |

I downloaded it and tried it out this afternoon. It seems to work fine. Apart from entirely different graphics, the only difference I could tell from the old app was that it did not vibrate when time was running down. |

The old app (found the .apk) appears to have stopped working now, and says "The Site You Selected is Not Available Currently." It worked about a month ago. |

Heck, one of our tablet bars up here doesn't even have tablets, and has no intention of getting them back, but they'll still occasionally turn the game on screen, so this works for me!

2 miles is probably the limit Tim. I'm at 1.99 miles and the new app is working here. The problem will be there are many incorrectly mapped locations in the BT site finder and those players may not be within 2 miles. That was the reason the distance radius got turned off the old app. It was easier to turn it off than change the maps as complaints came in. We'll see what they do this time. I tried the new app Saturday at my BWW in So Portland, ME and it did not work. Today, I went to a concert in NH and realized I was 0.78 miles from a site so I tried to make it work and it did. I tried my old ipod app today and got the "Site not available" message. Hopefully I can get the new app to work at my BWW (or I'll just use a tablet.) I was also going to comment that I hadn't seen any info on the BT website but I just went there and there was a notice about it. |

Portland BWW mapped compared to where it actually is located? The app runs off the site finder so if your location is off on the map by more than 2? miles it won't connect. Check the site finder and call BT if it's off. They can fix the map but never will if they don't know about the mistake. Edit: Just looked at site finder. The map location of that BWW seems to be close enough to be fine. So who knows?? Try again maybe it was a glitch then call BT if it's still says can't connect. What distance did it say you were from the BWW? PS - the old app on your iPad will never work again. |

It is interesting to see the picture of the app displaying a question but no answers are next to the numbers. If they will have the questions displayed, then they will need to display the answers in case no TVs are on or not in view of players using the app. |

One of our users was using the phone app yesterday. It worked on everything except Showdown. There was a message stating that it didn't work for Showdown. All other games seemed to work OK. It's possible that other premium games may have a problem also. |

Six is not surprising either. I have heard that Spotlight will not work either. Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe that they all worked with the old app. |
