The two-mile thing is hit or miss at Dayton area locations (mostly miss). Usually, I must be within a half mile or closer for the game to work on the phone. Once on the phone, one can drive several miles away and the game continues to play.

Elsas of Dayton and Kettering both dropped trivia, so now closest place to me is HarborChase Retirement Center. I’d be curious their agreement with Buzztime, maybe two games have actually been played there in two years.

Elsas Dayton is still open, but they got rid of trivia. If things get back to normal for bars/restaurants, they may get it back. I don’t know if they turned in the old boards or not, but I’m guessing they’d have to upgrade to re-establish trivia. Maybe Bud would have some insight on that..

Not sure about Elsas Kettering, I never go there..

As many of you have probably seen as of Fri a lot of bars that had been set at the 20 mile radius for the app are now set at 2 miles even when in the bar and thus can't connect because you have to be under 2.0 miles. I'm finding out these all seem to be bars that called BT to suspend their service at some point during the lockdown. BT turned off the game boxes right away but allowed the app to work and set it to 20 miles so players could play remotely. Now BT wants all the back rent and the suspended bars that said no were cut off from the app on Fri. though all are still listed in the sitefinder. It's a big standoff which neither side will win. Bars that never suspended service are unaffected and when you are within 2 miles they show as 0.0. I think a few paying bars have requested to be on the 20 mile radius for their older regular customers who can't get in the bar yet. 2 weeks to the merger, then I hope there can be some resolution to this standoff, if the merger vote goes through. Also hoping BT doesn't run out of funds before 3/15, I guess that's why they are strong arming the bars for back payments.

These are the six closest locations: Tower Pub, 3234 Morganford, Saint Louis, MO 63116 Cori's Twin Gables, 101 N HWY 47, Marthasville, MO 63357 The Cellar, 101 W Monroe, Carbondale, IL 62901 Maddies on Main, 106 N Main St, Monroe City, MO 63456 Maguire's Bar & Grill, 220 N. Center St., Bloomington, IL 61701 K.C.'s Time Out Lounge & Grille, 1121 Washington Square Mall, Evansville, IN 47715 Not very promising considering only one is local and 1 of the locations are two States away and 3-1/2 hour drive.

We have one of those bars here - Dogg House in Avon Lake, Ohio. Only thing that works is playing on the actual playmaker in the bar itself.
