So, what reminds you of trivia, that most people wouldn't understand, or just us "insiders" ?

For instance, last night I had a roast beef and cheddar cheese bicsuit at Tudor's Biscuit World in Nitro, WV.

I picked up a pair of pants today from the alteration guy and "pants are overrated" came to mind

There are SO many things, sayings, jokes that are "inside" to trivia folks...especially if you've been to a bash.

Something that just made GOBLUE and I literally laugh out loud the other day...and I wish I was quick enough to grab my camera from my purse...was a truck that turned in front of us with the business name "My Uncle's Meats" on the side. I wonder if they sell sausage?

Perspectives of a player from a BT-abandoned area:

An illuminated light of a cell phone or other electronic device makes me want to "press 3 and read the clues". (the girl in the elevator was not impressed with my excitable suggestions).

The old pub looks dark and abandoned, but each time I pass it, my body twitches in a sort of thrill, especially on Tuesdays. (passersby wonder if they should call 911 or AA for me).

The manager of my first trivia pub passes me and greets me with "How ya doin' Doob?" (maybe he purposely throws me into that time warp and smiles at me when I look glassy-eyed).

Recently I was talking with a friend about why she was going to a certain beach in Florida and she said because it was on a list of best beaches. Then again, people would not get me going to a bar because of seeing them on the leaderboard (see Elsa's Cantina, Cadillac Jacks for examples)

Good thinking. Both locations have a preliminary test you must pass before you are able to log onto a board. Why waste a half tank of gas to Dayton/Kettering for nothing?
