Why does it take two hours to get through Customs? This is why:

“What brings you 'ere for just two days?"

"I was in Rome for school and I extended my stay for one day to see London."

“Just a day and a half once you get through Customs.”

“Yeah. I leave early Sunday.”

"Where you gonna go while you’re here?"

"Um. Actually, I'm going to play trivia."

"Crickey! You're 'ere to to play TRIVIA?"

"Yeah."

"Where?"

"Tottenham? I can't remember the name of the place, but it's at 15 Tottenham."

"Tottenham itself or Tottenham Court Road?”

"I dunno. It's 45 minutes from here."

"Everything's 45 minutes from here. Tottenham's kind of dodgy. Be careful there.”

"That's OK. I'm from Chicago."

"Oh. You'll be fine."

There were 2 BWWs listed in Mexico. I'm not sure if anyone ever played. Both sites were large cities near Texas.

It’s not in England anymore. I was doing a different type of trivia.

There are still a few BT sites outside the US and our 51st state Canada. They have come and gone over the years. Used to be many in the Caribbean and England.

Currently there are a handful of US military bases that have BT at a club, of course not open to the public unless as a guest of military personnel. There is 1 in Germany and Japan among others.

There is a BWW in Manila and 4 in Mexico all with BT.

There is a bar in Queensland Australia showing as having BT.

There was good old Herby's in Roatan Honduras. They were getting good play from tourists but now unfortunately seems to be off the site finder.

So, not many out there but they do exist, can't throw blanket statements out there saying only in the US/Canada.

Kevin Ashman was working, so I didn’t get to meet him. But I did meet Mark Grant. He’s he one who showed me around all night.

“You’re one of the top ten quizzers in the world! Can I get a photo with you?”

“Sure. Now you have to collect the other nine.”

I've got one of MERKIN.

All I have of SPOTES is a picture of his Grandmother, editing the works of Shakespeare.

And it's a damn good thing she did.
The original: "Shall I compare thee to a carbuncle?" just doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
Bill Shakespeare. Nice enough guy. But couldn't write for shit...

I've always wanted to thank SPOTES's Gram for the following edit, which appears as Sonnet 121:

'Tis better to be vile than vile esteem'd,
When not to be receives reproach of being,
And the just pleasure lost, which is so deem'd
Not by our feeling, but by others' seeing.

For why should others' false adulterate eyes
Give salutation to my sportive blood?
Or on my frailties why are frailer spies,
Which in their wills think bad what I think good?

No - I am that I am; and they that level
At my abuses, reckon up their own:
I may be straight, though they themselves be bevel;
By their rank thoughts my deeds must not be shown;

Unless this general evil they maintain -
All men are bad, and in their badness reign.
