A friend of mine will be in Portland the week of 8/23/10 and is looking for a place to play. Anybody have any suggestions? The Skyland Pub is closest to his hotel, but they do not appear to have much Trivia play. He is also thinking of trying The Refectory or McGillacudy's. I have suggested McGillacudy's because they seem to have the most action and I think it would be interesting to see a Borg Team in action on Tuesday night.

Interesting - SIDAVE is going to Portland too, leaving today. If anyone has any suggestions, I will pass them along.

Dave should go to McGillacudy's and run up some top scores on their board by brain power alone. Remind Dave that Brainbuster starts at 5:00 PM and Showdown at 5:30 PM on the left coast. He will be missed tonight at Diamond Lil's. I am assuming that you will be there making up for his absence.

I spoke too quickly. He is flying to Portland, but staying in Eugene. I see no sites within 25 miles of there :( , but knowing Dave, he will go on at least one excursion to play somewhere. The closest is in Corvallis. Yes, I will be at DL's - it is Tuesday, so what else would I be doing?
