In Monday's Countdown game there was a question about what event led Robert Kennedy to say "Now I can be ruthless again. The corresct answer was winning his senate seat and the third clue was "Winning". However one of the other choices was "Winning a court case" or something similar. |

Hey Lumpy, how is Maderia Beach these days? Still ruling the boards from Angry Pepper? I have said many times over the years that I believe for CD and LT the writer of the question, with answer, that goes into the vast random question data base is not the same person who writes the clues. I think somebody else comes along later and cranks out the clues in great haste because they have so many to get through. I don't read the clues much because I would already have the answer in at 1000. |

I remember there was a similar type question like that about baseball. Two possible answers were "stealing bases" and "stealing signs". Third clue shown said, "steal ...". I picked the signs answer and was wrong. |
