RIP Ferret & Firkin and Werx

Post subject:  RIP Ferret & Firkin and Werx
Two Ontario sites that used to field respectable Showdown results are gone:

Ferret & Firkin - Toronto
Werx - Hamilton

According to Don Denton, Werx finished in the top 100 130 times since January 1 2006, Ferret & Firkin - 105 times since Jan 2007.

The Ferret may have closed or changed owners - the location is no longer listed on the Firkin website. The Werx website still mentions Buzztime :roll:. Hamilton is now rather short of decent locations if you don't want to play at Boston Pizza (the majority of Canadian Boston Pizza locations are not trivia friendly)

I am sorry to hear this--I know that Werx was a good Showdown site during tournaments, and Marvin seemed like a nice guy on the old BT forums.
