Just saw this on FB...yes I know I hate to say I WAS reading FB ackkkkkkkkk.
So between shutting down Rochester Mills for the SIX tourney and this, maybe BT is cutting down on the cheaters.

Tom Palka - What if I present proof that a team who is competing in the Chi City Showdown Traveling Trophy tournament is BORGING?? Will they be disqualified from winning?

NTN Buzztime, Inc. - And by borging you mean using their laptops to learn the answers as they come up? - Basically we would need to prove that they are cheating... so we would likely send the players a warning as well as one of our reps to the location at the time of the competition to check it out. If we can prove that they are cheating then yes, we can disqualify them.
Only problem is borging is not cheating. Now, I would approve of the DQ but if that's the stance BT wants to take, the rules must be rewritten.
Bud, do you know exactly what BT did with the Rochester Mills situation?
I only know what was on FB. The BT FB rep, who I think is KrazyKat, said she was sending HOHO a warning email about the iphone cheating and then would have the BT techs reset both Rochester Mills & ESM's computers to get them back in synch.
Then as we know they haven't reported since the 26th. Don't really know if they just stopped playing when the lag was gone or if the system was shut down or maybe they dropped the system. In any case it seems to have worked, but we'll see tomorrow night.
SRO OT may be in for a surprise in the Whales SIX tourney, but I doubt it. I think Rochester Mills is done.
