If you don't like the changes going into effect tomorrow, then please sign:

http://www.change.org/petitions/ntnbuzz ... -same-time

Although it would certainly be helpful if all of the folks who find out about the split tomorrow for the first time emailed, called, wrote, etc. to BT directly, I figured this would be an easy way for someone to register a complaint. Also BT can easily pretend it doesn't receive those emails, etc.; this is a public record, which it can't sweep under the rug.

I'm planning on printing up some cards with info on how to sign the petition and give them out to those folks as well as the staffs of locations who would suffer if BT manages to tank the company. Also I figure our friends and family, even if they're not players themselves, might be willing to help out.

The URL is a bit of a beast, but if anyone is around someone unhappy with the changes, just tell that person to got to change.org and put in "Buzztime" in the search engine, as the petition will immediately come up.

Sadly, I'm getting the feeling that a lot of people on this board and others are just so mad/frustrated with NTN that they're writing everything off rather than keep fighting for what we love. I do understand that feeling, but obviously I haven't given up yet--and neither should anyone who would be perfectly happy if NTN reverses its extremely bad decision re: splitting the networks, and therefore that person returns to play.

As I'm in the East, I will continue to play, but I understand that players both East (but mostly) West may choose to boycott starting tomorrow the split network. Please make your choice known to other folks who might sign the petition because of it, and continue to keep current on what's going on in case we can get a reversal once the numbers show BT that this was a really, really bad way to go. Because you know how much we want you back.

There are a few players that have put many hours of work the last couple of weeks into preparing a case to BT regarding the lunacy of this split and schedule. While these discussions obviously bore no immediate fruit, hopefully some groundwork has been laid for positive player action when these changes inevitably fail. So please take a mere 60 seconds to sign this petition and another 60 seconds to alert other players to such.

Thanks.

BO

p.s. if this petition doesn't get a couple of hundred signatures by week's end, I'll make sure the free-for-all forum gets shut down  :D

Signed it, I think. I could not see my signature or comment, so do not know how to tell for sure.

I have tamed myself of posting in those silly threads just for focusing more on Buzztime itself. I will still post in the Celeb Deaths thread but mainly staying focus on everything Buzztime.

The count of signers went to 132 now....So BO we got enough signatures but I say 500 is a stronger number needed to tell BT of what kaos they created.

This is Brooke's idea, it's her decision.

All I know is if the count isn't 200+ within 24 hours, I'll make sure the ban the person free for all thread is locked. :o

We're still working on our second hundred signatures. They keep trickling in, but I'd like to see some growth this week. In addition to posting it on Facebook, sending out messages to my change.org friends, and doing so emailing/messaging through Linked In to players I know who aren't on FB, COOGS printed up some old business card stock we had to be given out to casual players, servers, anyone who seemed interested. Here's what they have on them in case you'd like to try this as well with the people you know:

Want trivia to be what it used to be?
Go to change.org
Click “Browse Petitions”
Search "Buzztime"
SIGN

But you don't need to go to that trouble--just tell people "change.org" and "Buzztime", as it's very easy to find.

Thanks to all who have signed, all who will sign, and all who get others to sign.
