(We need another Canadian to show up at Palooza one of these years, if for no other reason than TOLLE gets someone else to pick on :D ;) )

Heard that more charges may be filed...

...involving more of the original charges...

...making the OSU stuff seem, well, minor.

The saddest thing is that he still is only the 4th or 5th weirdest person I've met playing trivia. I'm just afraid that some WVU fan will see Eric picking up trash on the side of the road in his jumpsuit and think he is the Syracuse Orangeman and run him over.

WVU moved to the Big 12.

Maybe an OK State player, now.

BTW--other than Harry/IM(not all)HERE, who are weider, Dave.

Makes me wonder where I place on that list

In today's The Independent, Ashland's local newspaper the headline:http://dailyindependent.com/local/x41012158/Waugh-31-charged-in-odd-event

His former names appear to just currently be suspended. Tonight before each game the Players +Points still showed those names with all of the points still and it has been over a week. His old team also played at BWW tonight so it would seem they have stopped playing at End Zone. It annoys me because I think they may have cheated on a couple of the pyramid questions tonight. Although it didn't matter in the end since almost everyone missed the finale.

Ashland's newspaper is just now reporting the event, that took place a month ago?

Well, Monday's headline was "DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN", so go figger.

To be fair to the newspaper I believe they were reporting on the grand jury indictment that was passed down on Monday. He is looking at a year in jail maybe more. But, he did not do anything and was misunderstood. The judge is going to say sorry and let him go.

Too bad that creepy SOB wasn't a Crimson Tide fan!!!! Anyway....I guess the bandwidth will be much less cluttered at La Quinta without a certain "Trivia Guru" looking up stuff all night long!

FWIW--TOLLE sent me his top 5 wierdest list. Tend to agree with him, except for the one guy I never met.

I checked the three television stations for the Ashland area (they come out of WV)

http://www.wsaz.com/
http://www.wchstv.com/
http://www.wowktv.com/

And they haven't posted any new information. I also noticed that the Kentucky State Police SO registry hasn't updated his info either

http://kspsor.state.ky.us/sor/servlet/SOR?id=20338

Makes me wonder if there is a continuation of the case.

What I know is that the Grand Jury decided on official charges on Monday. He was already scheduled for something on 5/16/12 at 1pm and then he had some other court date today at 11am. other than that no info on what those two court dates were for. As far as I know he is and has been in the Boyd County Detention Center since his arrest.

Wow, the Boyd County jail needs to update their website. It still shows a $5K bond. Doubt anyone will put $200K and money for the smaller bond up for the "trivia guru". Going to be a long time before he gets out of jail.
