Apparently he is a Badge junkie. Looks like he plays a hell of a lot and when he can't be there he must be punching an Iphone app until he gets one right. He played every available game for the last week.

Funny you should mention this guy. HUDBUB (from Sarasota) and I were just discussing him on-line last week. If you look at his scores, he plays all over the place. I looked at his stats and saw a game recorded in Ft Myers immediately followed by a score recorded in Talahassee then immediately followed by a game back in Ft Myers again.

Maybe someone here can explain to me how he can play one half-hour in one bar and then another one 200 miles away the next half-hour. Unless you have one of those Star Trek "Beam me up, Scotty" machines, I don't know how it's done.

And I take nothing away from him--he doesn't seem to play for a high average, just plays a lot. More power to him, I say. I play a lot myself, some would say. But he puts me to shame these days.

As I know TOPDOC and have had more than a few beers with him throughout the years, he is a quirky little man. He is "addicted" to collecting badges, I can't explain it nor will I even try. Before the badges, the "CARDS" controlled him.



As for the being in two places that is actually me playing under the "Handle" when I happen to be playing more than 2 boxes, which is not often because my drinking suffers as a result. Hope that helps clarify that. If you remember SOB when I visited Dagwoods in March, I had to play under that handle because the box wouldn't take 2 of my letters for my log-in.

There are a couple badge junkies at that site. Get on the iphone, switch between all five available sites and get five badges per game 10-12 hours per day. Do you really want to be that person?

As far as I know these people play at their bar regularly, pay their bill and tip well. They keep things lubricated. Buzztime has created an imperfect system. I'm more concerned about the people I haven't seen playing in the last six months.

Like who, Jim?? The iphone cheating been around more than 6 months.

From what I have observed last Sunday during LunchTime trivia he is playing in a site with a Play Maker and the Mobile App at surroundind sites. In a 45 minute period he earned 24 Badges and did NOT make Top Twenty on any of the games nor the site he was at. During the same period LILLY got 26 Badges. They appear to play together or he has a split personality.

Mitchwolf wtf it isn't important. Look up badge leaders from BWW Ft Myers and do your own Philip Marlow. The people may have a badge weakness, but they are still playing on a regular basis, as far as I know they are good people and as such helping keep the game afloat.

In your own area Hooters is on the bubble and Sybergs has sent in their 30 days. What's left??

Since I'm on summer break, I've been taking the laptop to the BWW to surf the net & play trivia.

One of the features of the BT site is being able to track badges at next to real time speed.

Indeed, TOPDOC & LILLY have been busy badge beavers from opening til close.

I haven't checked, but may, to see if they are cancelling the premium games to continue to hoarde badges throughout the night.

Hope they at least drink alcohol.

The most annoying thing is some badge whore keeps terminating on the East and shows up on the West. It is annoying as fuck and it is nothing more than taunting. Listen, we know we are fucked out here for competition, but do you have to keep taunting us by playing CD on our feed for a few more stupid ass badges?

Want all my P+ points how about these fucking retarded badges that have diluted (for lack of coding) the CD question pool? Take them all, I don't care.

A guy new to town heard about me losing my 36 Million P+, he said, "Why would you do that?" I replied, "They are worthless and mean less than nothing." He kept arguing about why someone would risk that amount of P+? I said, "Listen, I don't give a sh!t about the points or Buzztime. Got to bar early today to go online to check when my training sessions for work are. Got here in time to answer last 2 questions of 1st LTT game.

Anyway...by 3:00, I managed to catch TOPDOC in badges, making the national boards 5-6 times...yet have not seen TOPDOC on boards.

How does he get so many badges with pedestrian games...(shit...only 9th that game)

I am guessing he has several games going at once, in several bars. The only score that would show up in his game stats are the highest scores of the however many games he is playing at once. I would bet there is a TOPDOC at 4 different bars all scoring 3-4k with only the highest score registering.

btw. How do you make the 'National Boards?' when the Mountain/Pacific time zones ares till playing Lunchtime Trivia?

Looking at just yesterday, LILLY was jumping back and forth playing at BDubs and Bottom Line. I really don't care about someone and their obsession for badges... just another example of someone making a mockery of Buzztime. We had a couple (LION and VAMP) in Huber Heights that were in love with the cards, they would play from home on their Iphone and hit 1 until they got a question right all day long.

You're right about the national board, brudda. But would have still been west omitted just due to the time of game play.

BTW--they be at it, again today.

Looks as though the TOPDOC account has been wiped from the system, the LILLY account remains. It appears that TOPDOC just started a new account based in NC.

Yesterday had 15,800 P+, today 10M+ P+.

Well, perhaps they let him transfer his P+ points to a new account with no badges. If so, I'm OK with that. Now they just need to nuke the LILLY account.

Lots of complaints about TOPDOC and LILLY, no one seems to notice or complain about DTHDLR who was and is doing the same thing as TOPDOC. As I write this, he is getting lunchtime badges from multiple bars at the same time.
