For the fourth and last Sunday of May 2012, Memorial Day...

My California Golden Bears' softball team took the first game from those huckable fuskies Saturday and need only one win to advance to the CWS

. Meanwhile, THE ICEMAN's Sun Devils advanced to the CWS, rebounding from an opening loss to Louisiana-Lafayette

, apparently to face a familiar foe, The Oregon Ducks, who eliminated the higher seeded Texas Longhorns (sorry, Brandy

).

There will be no other Pac-12 teams, as The Oklahoma Sooners sent those damnable tucson mildrats home.

Yep, the Lady Devils made an impressive comeback after getting trounced in the first game.

As far as PAC-11 baseball goes, there looks to be a lil bit of a log jam going into the last games...

TUCSON, Ariz. - Right-hander Trevor Williams became the only 12-game winner in the Pac-12 this season after leading the 16th-ranked Arizona State baseball team to a 9-7 win over 13th-ranked Arizona on Saturday night before 5,677 fans at Hi-Corbett Field in Tucson, Ariz.

With tonight's win, the Sun Devils (36-19, 18-11) moved into second place in the Pac-12 standings and are one game back from first place, where there is a three-way tie between Oregon, Arizona and UCLA.

As of today, Yahoo! Sports is a lil over halfway done with their preseason BSCS ratings. The lowest rated Pac-12 team, to lil surprise, is Colorado at 79. Closely grouped together are Washington State (63), THE ICEMAN's Arizona State Sun Devils (62), Oregon State (61), and those damnable tucson mildrats (59).

UCLA is at 45, meaning that my California Golden Bears should appear soon, hopefully just a lil below those huckable fuskies. I can only hope that the eternally damnable junior university is badly overrated, since it would mean that their fall back to their customary suckitude starts a lil sooner than their eternally damnable fans would like.

This thread should be called "The Liljol and ICEMAN Show". It has virtually nothing to do with drinking coffee. I started to count them, but gave up after about four pages or so, and just skimmed through the rest of the pages. I would estimate that at least 95% of the posts here are by Liljol and ICEMAN having fun crossing swords with each other.

Once again, Yahoo! Sports seems to have horribly overrated my California Golden Bears. 34 seems way more than a lil high, given the numerous weaknesses on offense, defense, and special teams. :cry:

Whilst I didn't bother to try to find it to watch it, one stat that stuck out from The 49ers' first exhibition was that backup QB Colin Kaepernick ran for more yards on his TD run than he was able to get in nine pass attempts. :roll:
