Chose not to play, did anyone return for a second helping this week? Was curious to know if national rankings were shown.

If anybody did play, would love to know what some of the more memorable questions were. Thanks.

I anxiously showed up, but figured game started at 8, so missed all but last 4 questions. We'll try again next week, I think we're gonna like this game...

What model car did Denny Hamlin drive yesterday?
Who was first MLB team to clinch division? O-H-I-O
The Tour Championship was played at _____ Golf Course?
What kicker won yesterday's game at end with a field goal?

Me and Jethro played it and we didn't stay for the national rankings. Again there was a horse racing question and other questions that don't make sense.

I may play it again time to time, but Jethro told me he will never play it again.

"Which team won the Little League game between Dario Santana's nephew and their opponents?"

"How many points was a touchdown worth on Friday?"

"What's your favorite number?"

I was all set to shitcan it in favor of Countdown but a group of guys that used play Sports IQ showed up so I left it up for them to check out. No one seemed to like it all that much. No national rankings again either. My biggest complaint (aside from the content) is that it's just 30 straight countdown style questions. One of the things I really like about the premium games is the different formats of the various rounds. As someone who plays a lot of trivia, the standard format of Lunch Time and Countdown can get pretty old and I look to the premium games as a welcome change of pace.

If a player intercepts the ball in the end zone, how many points does the opposing team earn?

Based on the second week of abysmal feedback, I think I'm glad I skipped this week and I don't anticipate ever playing this game at this time. Talked to STATS...and they were in the middle of setting up QB1...so he didn't get to see the questions.

At Hooter's of Tallahassee, FL we were only playing warm-up for the Smartest Bar.

I got questions right like Ryan Dungey is famous for (Motocross racing)

Michael's Power won what horse race? (Little Brown Jug) I made sure I remembered that one from last Thursday's Sports Section

Who threw three TD's? (Andy Dalton)

How many overtime games were there Sunday? (Three)

Which two teams scored 46 points in the fourth quarter? (Titans-Lions)

Which MLS team has the best record? (San Jose Earthquakes) Did STATS know that one UCFHCY?

I missed questions like which team won their 10th straight home opener? (Steelers)

Hey it's the only Sports choice at present on Monday and I'm out of there and home by 8:30 in time for MNF now that Smartest Bar is done.

Not sure if he did or not HUNK. If the TVs were back on The Pulse by the time the question came back up, I would venture to say Yes...STATS got that. For SIQ, he'd routinely look at some of the non-prime sports (WNBA, MLS, Arena Football, etc.) standings.

Yeah... it's simply not any fun. I did a fair amount of research leading up to the game, looking back over scores and things that they could ask about, to see if it would affect my enjoyment of the game. That may be the biggest flaw with this game; I was just as disappointed after the questions I got right as I was after the questions I got wrong, as they are all equally uninteresting and random. In Sports IQ, it was fun every time in the year round that a Heisman trophy or World Series winner came up, racking my brain trying to remember the year, and gratifying when I could remember correctly. Reading yesterday morning about the Old Dominion QB throwing for a shitload of passing yards, and then recalling his name during The Pulse, was not gratifying at all.

There's a resounding endorsement if ever I've heard one.
If Hooter's only offered broken glass sandwiches on Mondays would you order one? (Having eaten their food, I know what my answer would be... )
The person I feel sorry for is TomD.
Now he has to make some really tough decisions when he crafts each week's game.
"This week, do the kids want questions about something completely boring or do they want questions about something completely meaningless?"
Luckily with the level of this game he can now turn his attention to more worthy pursuits and give the reins over to someone else. Like maybe the night-time janitor or some random employee's third-grader during the next Bring Your Daughter to Work Day...

Hunk, I did get the MLS question correct. I did NOT get the Little Brown Jug question correct and only remember two overtime games Sunday as I did not watch much football this weekend due to my conflicting softball doubleheader (I didn't realize that Chiefs - Saints went into overtime). I don't remember the Ryan Dungey question but I probably would've missed that one too. I missed the first 10 - 12 questions because none of the TV's in the bar had trivia on and the manager was programming QB1 for us to play later. This was still acceptable to us.

Thanks for the props, Brad. Those tendencies are why you keep me around. :D

Player count down 8% from last week, should drop again next week as it won't have the Smartest Bar promotion to prop it up.
