I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore.

I go out looking forward to "In New York", expecting all sorts of interesting things about one of the world's most exciting cities, and instead I get fifteen questions on CLOTHES???????

(I'm exaggerating. There were actually only fourteen questions about clothing and one about eating rabbits. I am not making this up.)

Obviously, no one at Buzztime has heard that there are eight million stories in the Naked City. Think about it, THEY DON'T EVEN WEAR CLOTHES IN NEW YORK!

Ok, I'm done ranting. Could I please have my 30 minutes back?

I almost went out for the game because I figured new things in New York would have to include at least one Broadway question. I also imagined it might include movies/new TV shows being filmed there, all of which would have made an enjoyable game. Glad I stayed home instead.

I was home in Louisville and we ended up 24th at Old Chicago on the New York fashion game. Thank goodness a lady had joined us because Dante, Bato and I were certainly clueless males.

Come on people...this is Trendalicious not Topix. Of course the games are going to be pop, female trending as they have been for a long while.

But it would be nice to know what the Hollywood games was about? Pop Stars was my thought? Cleveland maybe on Rock & Roll Ladies? Who knows what Washington would be? Politicians?

I'm pretty sure I would have gotten a 2000 on that game if she hadn't come.

True. I wouldn't mind that actually.

I seem to recall the Hollywood game was mostly movie and TV questions. The "What's Old is New in Hollywood" theme referred to each question alluding to either a new remake/spinoff or a project based upon an old source of material i.e. (and I am severely paraphrasing here):

Q: A new television show based upon which of these movies was recently announced?
A: Beverly Hills Cop

Q: In an upcoming film, Hansel and Gretel hunt what type of creatures?
A: Witches
