... Is when the first or second clue knocks you OFF the correct answer. Rare, but a couple of the "not" distractor clues also apply to the right answer. Argh.

yesterday i played 3 different boxes that were crosslinked to others.

I finally gave up fighting for control and quit and watched my wife play.

I'm joining SCAR in most disliking crosslinked boxes. Yesteday we had a first: a box crosslinked with COOG's iPad. After he signed out and relogged in, the problem went away, but it sure screwed up for him the Countdown game that was on when it first occurred.

I got bitten by a crosslinked box during Scifiles. It may have hurt us somewhat in the tournament, although we had a nice game.

I don't understand why this has to be a problem. Can't they program the new box with the old one's address before they send it. And if not, WHY not?

Had a box log ITSELF off yesterday. Only other PMs in use at the time was the BOTFLY box. No cross interfernece. Don't remember seeing that before.

I've had that happen before maybe a couple of times. Usually, it's a problem with the box as I remembered the number. Afterwards, they were sent back. I think that it was a battery problem.

Bobby, at the homesite, I have the privledge of getting to clean one of the PM chargers (yea, thanks a lot) so the PMs will charge to the 99% level of that generation. It was the first full game, so I don't know. I did check the number and will take that one out of 'my' charger and replace it with another PM.
