Over the years, I've also questioned Buzztime prioritizing self-advertising with giving players the main reward for playing any game: seeing the results. At least for a time it was not unusual to have the Playback results show up briefly for only moments, while an ad encouraging everyone to "play Playback on Saturdays" would take up time. Especially on the non-premium/specialty games such as Countdown, Lunchtime Trivia, and Late Shift, although a player can determine his/her ranking by looking it up on his/her player stats, the only time to see how other players did on these games is through the post-game rankings. Clearly it is more important to give players an adequate time to view those rankings by repeating them than it is to push BT-related terminology or even BT games (especially when, as in the example I gave, it's the same game the person is already playing).
