Ah yes, I remember all the fights I had with my sister over who got to be the banker.

I think the Baccarat question was in Six on Wednesday. They did ask a question about points in Cribbage, though.

You are absolutely correct. I rescind my snark.

Now what were the other two questions in Topix, then???

Really enjoyed Skyscrapers Topix last night. Couple of tough ones but we ended up 9th as a bar. Not looking forward to Hot Musicals tonight

What was the seventh question last night?

The reason I asked is because that is what I missed when my idiot bartender switched off my game so that someone else could watch the Red Sox. And it turns out, they didn't even play last night. (grrrrr...)

As for the question I missed, I caught a glimpse of the answers when the bartender switch TV back to trivia; I recall Frankfurt being the answer. But what was the question?

IIRC, it went something like "In which of these European cities is the Commerzbank Tower?", and the only other plausible sounding choice was Vienna.

FWIW, that was one of several very lucky guesses that contributed to my somehow sneaking into the Top 20. :D

Upon further review, we actually did very well on Hot Musicals and finished around 9th in the country thanks to 1 member who went 10 for 10 on the first 2 rounds.

Tim,

Your team did quite well on both Topix and on Spotlight. Although your team's individual scores were close, I'd venture that it was Tom/BIFF who spearheaded the offense. :)

I decided to play tonight at the last minute. I just though this game was going to be a snooze fest, I was 11 for 11 before the dreaded 3 out of last 4 miss streak. Then missing 2 in the 'Kevin Bacon' round really turned an awesome game into a 3rd.
