It keeps getting stranger and stranger. Now I cannot even log in at Angry Pepper as Lumpy on their tablets -- I have to use my smart phone. Of the 6 players playing this afternoon, three were able to log in on the tablets, even some players registered at other sites, and three of us could only log in using our phones. I tried every tablet they had. On some I got kicked out after entering Lumpy as my username. On the others it accepted Lumpy as my username but not my password.

Here's an update to what Apple iOS version is now needed to run the newest "blue" BT app version.

I had to do a required BT app update on a older Iphone and in doing so the app store screen said 15.6 or higher to run the app.
So that is a pretty big jump from the previous iOS 13.

My old iphone on bar wifi only, no data plan, was fine as it has 15.8. but it's maxed out at that iOS. Can't do any further major iOS updates.

So be careful if looking for used/refurbished devices to use as a playmaker box soon when the current box and BT tablets go dead.
Don't try to use your everyday phone unless you get absolutely no texts, calls or email on it.

iOS 15.6 or higher for Apple devices!!

It’s July and the blue boxes and tablets are still working.

There are definitely less bars showing in the box/tablet bar rankings for LT and CD.
The switch over to BGN is happening but very slowly it seems.

Then the Site hub rankings are slim, just the few Site hub bars and box bars.

Griffin's in Los Alamitos CA has the games with boxes, but hasn't showed up in the site finder for a long time. A few of us has contacted BT and have yet to get a reply. It will be hard to get them to switch over if no one can play.

A couples reasons a bar may not show up on the sitefinder yet still have new games and good rankings. Some bars have asked to have the ability to turn off the app at their bar to cut off the few players that may abuse the system and not actually be at the bar but still are within 2 miles. When the app is off the bar no longer shows in the sitefinder. (Uses same data) At least 5 or 6 bars doing this. Is the app not working at Griffins? Was there trouble with a player not being in house? Or it’s a glitch that keeps the bar out of the sitefinder. Either way the bar has players and is doing well and showing in the “Top Trivia Locations” where anyone can find you.

Good job on Griffins winning Topix on Friday, so obviously y’all were playing and all is good at Griffins…..until the boxes go dead and you have to switch to the app only BGN. Then there is no turning off the app and Griffins will reappear in the sitefinder.

Good luck dealing with the upcoming unknown date of the “Day of Death”.
