Not sure about iPhone, but Android app for the playmaker has an update.

"Recently Changed in this version

- Support for Buzztime premium football games: The Season and QB1
- Smaller file size
- Serveral bug fixes"

I wonder what they mean by "bug fixes", and if this will cure some timing issues between bars, and the ability to sign on to a bar that is a distnace from where you are. Personally I won't download it, nor any other app, until I see others have downloaded it and reported any problems. I fell into that trap more than once, where an update caused more problems with bugs and removed features than the original app.

If anyone downloads the update, please report here as to any new/changed/deleted features, or stability issues.

Starting to wonder now.......

How many people are going to play QB1 from home, and use over-the-air TV signal instead of the more delayed satellite signal that bars get. Wondering if this is a way that people could get a call in quicker than if they were watching the game at a bar.

The update is also available for the iPod Touch/iPhone but it just says:

Support for Buzztime's The Season and QB1.

No mention of bug fixes.

Considering each location sets their synch with whatever feed they are watching, players can cheat if they want to while still sitting in the bar. So yes, they can cheat this way but it's nothing in the scheme of things over the last few years.
