Playing at bargos cincy. After q8 in the 2pm etc buzztime game the screen locked up. Poker continued to run normally
. We klled the buzztime game. At 215 the buzztime game started but none of answers would register. At this point we rebooted the server. It came back up and joined the 215 game in progress but it still would not register our answers. Now countdown is running and we still have the same problem.

BT computer trouble...we had the same thing happen several times during the Season, had to do with the bar's internet service. I know the Season is a different type game but could be the same deal.

Call BT customer service, they can diagnose the problem very quickly.

We did. They reset the games remotely and everything is working now.

A friend up in Mass went to two sites that were going off and on with all sorts of probles from first not being able to log on to answers not being taken. So it appears to be wide spread.

I broke the news about Buzztime's changes to all the regulars at my bar this weekend.

While they met the changes with thumbs down, as expected, they were all excited about the dumping of the 15-minute buzztime games in exchange for the return to Countdown games.

That is, all except one regular.

His response to that change... "Now we won't be able to get as many P+ points in an hour" [insert LILJOL's bang-head-against-the-wall emoticon here]

Well, IIRC, the head bang emoticon is THE ICEMAN's. Image

As for my reaction to that player's response... Image Image

Geez, Joel, it's not like you to be grumpy, or resistant to change . . . is everything okay in that site-poor backyard of yours?

*runs and hides* ;)
